Bachelor of Science in Engineering Science and Mechanics

B.S. in Engineering Science and Mechanics
A Notice About the ESM Degree
The engineering science and mechanics (ESM) undergraduate degree is in the process of being discontinued and the program plans to only accept students through the end of the fall 2019 application period. All students previously admitted to the ESM undergraduate major program will be able to finish their bachelor's by 2023. Students may still pursue an ESM minor.
ESM Emphasis Areas
- Biomechanics
- Engineering physics
- Fluid mechanics
- Motions
- Solid mechanics
A total of 12 credit hours of technical electives and six credit hours of senior design give ESM students the freedom to develop individually tailored programs of concentrated study. The curriculum exposes students to the design process and their undergraduate experience culminates in a senior-level capstone design course.
Course Offerings
